Proverbs 19:20

31 Mar Proverbs 19:20

When your back is against the wall dealing with debt and you are not sure what to do remember Proverbs 19:20.  This passage says Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life. The bottom line is that you do not have to face anything alone including the creditors associated with your debt.

Before you go to a debt consolidation company, cash out your life savings, cash out your retirement or take a loan against your home to resolve your debt problems speak to qualified bankruptcy attorney to review your options.  If you are not ready to file bankruptcy but rather want to get a better handle on managing your money, take a budget and financial management course at your local community college.  If you want to manage your investments while planing for your retirement, speak to a qualified financial planner. If you are stressed out dealing with debt or life in general, speak to God, a counselor, religious adviser, family member, friend or 1-800-784-2433 for the suicide hotline. You never have to face any problem alone.

Remember that knowledge is power and as it says in Proverbs 19:20 it will make you wise.
