You expect board certification from your doctor – expect it from your lawyer too!
Jill practices law with her husband, Mark Neis. In 1984, they married and merged their law practices to form their law firm, Neis & Michaux, P.A. in Topeka. They were the first Kansas attorneys to be board certified in consumer bankruptcy law. Today, they are the only Kansas consumer bankruptcy specialists west of the Kansas City metropolitan area and two of seven Kansas attorneys who have gone the extra mile to achieve board certification in consumer bankruptcy law by an American Bar Association accredited organization, which earns them the title of consumer bankruptcy specialist. They attend national conferences to maintain their expertise in bankruptcy law and are frequently called upon to speak about bankruptcy at local, regional and national forums.
