Chip Parker, a founding contributor to Bankruptcy Law Network and Mortgage Law Network, has practiced in the areas of consumer bankruptcy and family law in Jacksonville, Florida since 1992. Since 1994, he has been managing shareholder of Parker & DuFresne, P.A. In 2007, Parker’s shifted his primary focus to mortgage foreclosure litigation in bankruptcy court as well as state court.
Currently, Parker is actively litigating 100 or more foreclosures throughout Florida, and is recognized as a leader in Florida foreclosure litigation. He holds membership in the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, National Association of Consumer Advocates, the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association and Florida Family Law Inns of Court. Parker serves a seminar panelist on the subject of foreclosure litigation for bankruptcy attorneys and is interviewed by national and local media on the subject of foreclosures.
Parker attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, and received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Florida in 1989 and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1992. He is admitted to practice law in every state and federal court in Florida.
