The location of Charlotte NC bankruptcy Chapter 13 Creditor Meetings has moved from the Chapter 13 Trustee’s office on Park Rd to the United States Bankruptcy Administrator’s Office at 402 West Trade St, Charlotte NC 28202.   The Charlotte bankruptcy creditor’s meeting room is in the building is across from the United States Federal Courthouse. It is on the 2nd floor towards the back of the building.  Chapter 7 Creditor Meetings are normally also held at this same location.

Some metered parking is available, and there are parking lots within the blocks surrounding the area.  You should bring change for the meters, or dollar bills for parking lots.   There is no reserved handicap parking, however  you may be able to find parking at one of the metered spaces, some of which are directly outside the front door of the building.  You may need to be dropped of and let someone else park the car further away.  An elevator is available inside.

Do not confuse the Federal Courthouse with the Mecklenburg County Courthouse on East Trade Street. If you have served on a state law jury, had to deal with tax issues, a traffic or state criminal case or look up your property deed, you were probably at the County Courthouse at the corner of 4th Street and McDowell Street in downtown Charlotte. The Federal Courthouse is at the other end of Trade Street, nearer to I-77.
