All my bags are packed. I’m ready to go. Got my code in hand and I’m leavin on a jet plane. Don’t know when I’m coming back.
Tomorrow I leave for Tuscon and the start of another National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Convention. You can always tell the NACBA Lawyer when they are heading to the convention. They are wide eyed and ready learn new things to help thier clients, meet others laweys and of course have a good time.
You can always spot them leaving. They are worn out but have a glow. These lawyers are ready to return to their towns all fired up and ready to help debtors.
I always look forward to the convention as break from the office. It’s a chance to learn some new things, a chance to understand that you are doing things correctly, a chance to bond with others who are doing the right thing in helping people in financial distress and chance to feel good about what we consumer bankruptcy lawyer do on a daily basis.
When I leave I am so fired up. I can’t wait to try some new ideas out with my clients. I can’t wait to try new things to make my office better. I can’t wait to reconnect with the attorneys I have met. I can’t wait to share some of this with the other NACBA lawyer in my town that could not make it.
I’m set this time to learn about Chapter 11s and advanced Chapter 13s. I wish there were two of me so I can be two places at once.
Of course part of the convention is also having a good time. The resort looks great. If you are out there come look me up, say hello and maybe raise a pint or two. Remember you should always look for the NACBA Lawyer, I’m leavin on a jet plane,,,,,,,,
