Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Defense Opens New Daytona Beach Office

by Andy Miofsky, Illinois Bankruptcy Attorney on February 23, 2009 · 1 comment · Posted in Your Bankruptcy Attorney & You

Parker & DuFresne, P.A., a law firm concentrating in the areas of consumer bankruptcy and foreclosure defense, announces the opening of its new office in Daytona Beach.

“For months, Daytona Beach residents would drive 90 minutes to our Jacksonville office for a consultation, so we knew there was a need that wasn’t currently being met in that area,” reports Chip Parker, managing partner.  “And in the few short weeks we’ve been open in Daytona, we are already meeting with people who make the hour drive from Orlando.  We are looking at Orlando next.”

Parker & DuFresne, P.A. was formed in 1994 by Parker and Don DuFresne, and in 2002, Patricia Parker joined the firm.  Until last year, their peers also recognized the trio of lawyers as a premier divorce litigation firm, but because of the epidemic of foreclosures in Florida, they no longer take family law cases.  They even resigned from the prestigious Family Law Inns of Court.

“There are more excellent divorce attorneys in the Jacksonville area than there are foreclosure defense attorneys in the entire state,” says Parker.  “Shifting our practice away from family law has allowed us to refine our foreclosure defense model, which is second to none.”

Parker & DuFresne, P.A. currently represents hundreds of homeowners fighting foreclosure and has filed thousands of bankruptcies over the years.

The Daytona office is located at 641 South Ridgewood Avenue and is open Monday through Friday.  Appointments can be scheduled in the new office by calling (386) 255-9090.
