Bankruptcy Trustee Meeting Directions for Springfield, MA
By L. Jed Berliner, Massachusetts Bankruptcy Attorney on Jul 29, 2007 in General Bankruptcy Information, Massachusetts
Whether Chapter 7 or 13, your meeting will be at the TD Banknorth Center in Room 515 (fifth floor), 1441 Main Street, Springfield. If you are coming from Hampshire or Franklin County, get off at Exit 7 on Interstate 91 South. Turn left at the first traffic light. You will pass under the highway, and the red brick TD Banknorth Center building will then be one block away on the far left side of the next intersection. (The building is set off on a 45 degree angle from the intersection it faces.)
There is parking behind the building, and it is handicap-accessible. Go up to the fifth floor and turn right off the elevator, then open the door on the left at the end of the short hallway.
You will be entering the rear of a conference room with a large table at the front and five rows of people like you, with or without their lawyers, everyone scared and most without much sleep. You really, really have nothing to worry about if your attorney and staff has spent enough time preparing you and your papers.
It’s a good idea to arrive about five minutes early so you can hear the trustee ask questions of the case before yours, but you really do not have to arrive any earlier than that.
