Who are the debtors in your neighborhood?

Technically if you owe a mere penny to anyone you are a debtor.  However when people think of bankruptcy they often have trouble thinking about filing because in their mind the do not fit the “type”.  “I make a good wage. I have a nice home and drive a nice car therefore I cannot be a bankruptcy debtor.”  Guess what…..debtors come in all shapes and sizes and all walks of life.  My debtors consist of lawyers, doctors, veterinarian, NFL Player, member of the PGA Tour, web designers, computer technicians, sales people, management and staff of Ford, GM workers, AT&T workers, management and staff of Sprint, Wells Fargo workers, pharmacy workers,  plumbers, mechanics, homemakers, casino workers, city workers, college students, business owners, police officers, firemen, private business owners, nurses, construction workers, artists, truck drivers, blue collar workers, white collar workers, no collar workers and ministers.  Debtors typically do not fit into a clean cut cubby hole profile type.  Every case is different and every situation needs to be analyzed.  Get the facts first from a qualified attorney near before you say to yourself I do not fit the bankruptcy type and therefore cannot file.
