Feeding your family during a bankruptcy.

One of the concerns that people have during a bankruptcy or in times of financial trouble is how they are going to feed their families. I recommend Angel Food Ministries to all my clients. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 32 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Regardless of your religious affiliation this program may bring relief in your time of need. You DO NOT have to be a member of the host church or any church for that matter. This program is NOT income or religion contingent. You just need to pay $25.00 in cash for your order. For $25.00 per order you can receive the sample menu:

(1) 26 oz. Chicken & Stuffing Bake Dinner
(4) 8 oz. Hamburger Steaks
(1) 2 lb. Lasagna Dinner
(1) 5 lb. Breaded Frying Chicken
(1) 12 oz. Philly Steak Portions
(1) 3 lb. Popcorn Chicken
(1) 1 lb. Hot Dogs
(1) 16 oz. Gourmet Bean Soup
(1) 7.5 oz. Mac & Cheese
(1) 7.5 oz. Southern Style Biscuit Mix
(1) 24 oz. Steak Cut Fries
(1) 16 oz. Peas & Carrots
(1) 16 oz. Turnip Greens
(1) 15 oz. Sliced Pears
(1) 8 oz. Pineapple Chunks
(1) 10 oz. Peanut Butter
(1) 13.75 oz. 10 ct. Waffles
(1) Dessert Item

You may be wondering if the food is good. I not only recommend this program for my clients but I also order the food from time to time. The food is excellent and you will not believe the amount of food you will receive for $25.00.

Great post! This is particularly relevant for families who are forced for one reason or another to dedicate all of their “disposable income” to a Chapter 13 Plan for three to five years. A little belt-tightening and strict budgeting during participating in such a plan is unfortunately necessary, but oftentimes very difficult to impliment, because these same families have already spent years pre-bankruptcy filing trying to belt-tighten.
