Maryland Bankruptcy Courts

Unlike some states, Maryland has but a single bankruptcy district, divided into the Northern and Southern Divisions.
The Northern division is located at the Garmatz Federal Courthouse, 101 West Lombard Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201. The Bankruptcy Clerk’s office is located in Suite 8515, and the general information number is (410) 962-2688.
The Southern division is located at the U.S. Courthouse, 6500 Cherrywood Lane, Greenbelt, Maryland 20770. The Bankruptcy Clerk’s office is located in Suite 300, and the general information number is (301) 344-8018.
There are seven active bankruptcy judges, four in Baltimore and three in Greenbelt:
