How Long Will My Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Last
By Bankruptcy Attorney on Feb 11, 2007 in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
Chapter 13 bankruptcy is a payment plan. Depending on factors, such as the amount of income you make, the Chapter 13 Plan will last anywhere from 3 to 5 years. Chapter 13 follows the same basic process as Chapter 7 (filing, Meeting of Creditors, discharge, and closing); however, in Chapter 13 bankruptcy you will not receive a discharge of your debt until your payment plan has been completed.
